HAYS are delighted to be working with a leading provider of infrastructure, and facilities maintenance, contracted to the MOD to source a Core Service Delivery Manager, to join their highly proactive team on a permanent basis. Situated in RNAS Yeovilton it remains one of the busiest military airfields in the UK boasting a 1000-acre site with 4300 personnel on site


Your new role
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery of planned & reactive maintenance on the airbase, supporting the Site Manager in proving optimal solutions for any minor works issues. Utilising your awareness / competence, you will ensure all inspections and certification are up to date, raising & prioritising any remedial works. You will be expected to carry out the duties of; Asbestos / Legionella Responsible Person, Temporary Works Coordinator and CDM Principal Designer. Recognising the environment in which you work in, you will ensure the billable works you deliver are done so in a concise & methodical manner, ensuring minimal disruptions to operation of an active military base.



What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Service Delivery Manager, you will have an ONC/BTEC level qualification in an electrical / mechanical engineering related discipline (or equivalent). From your previous experience, possess good technical competencies / awareness of Asbestos & Legionella, Fire Safety and general asset management. You will be an excellent communicator, and methodical in your approach as you will embrace the logistical challenges of working within a prestigious Air Base.
