Climate Change Project Manager - Permanent Opportunity - Delivering Housing Projects - £46,549 - Hybrid

Your new company
As a Climate Change Project Manager you will join a public sector organisation who are striving to achieve carbon natural and wider climate change targets over the coming years. Your new employer are a provider of affordable homes based in Devon, it is there responsibility to manage, maintain and provide fit for purpose living standards for tenants across the local region.


Your new role
You will take overall responsibility for project works taking place across the housing stock, specifically relating to climate change. This means you will manage revenue improvement and capital budgets, as well as the contractors responsible for delivering the work. You will ensure works are delivered in line with statutory regulations and current legislation to ensure safety of tenants.

Your role will involve development of a carbon management policy, and to improve SAP ratings for dwellings.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent working knowledge of CDM & building regulations, as well as health & safety across gas, legionella, asbestos and fire. Working within a public sector environment is preferred, however not essential for this position.
