Interim Damp Surveyor opportunity with agile working

Your new company
Opportunity to join a Housing Association in Essex as a Damp Surveyor. You will be joining an experienced maintenance team who work on both reactive and planned maintenance projects across north Essex. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to recruit an interim surveyor for three months.

Your new role
This role will be agile working, working from home and across the patch in north Essex including attending meetings at their offices. You will be working on a diverse range of housing stock dealing with repairs and defects with a focus on damp/mould issues. This will include visiting homes to carry out inspections and condition surveys and manage specifications and works. This role is initially a three month contract with potential to become a permanent contract.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you should have experience of day to day repairs and void inspections within a housing environment. You should be competent writing specification of works and managing disrepair claims. Access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
