Stuart Radley Associates is a firm of Chartered Building Surveyors with offices in Brighton and Eastbourne. We are a professional consulting practice established in 1999 and undertake a broad range of work on both commercial and residential property in Brighton, Hove, Eastbourne, throughout Sussex and beyond. We are regulated by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which means we adhere to strict codes of conduct and guidelines on working practices.
As a Building Surveyor you will be involved in a variety of projects and experience the day to day role of a Surveyor. You will have face to face interaction with clients, contractors and colleagues as well as overseeing works onsite. As a Graduate Building Surveyor at Stuart Radley Associates you will be involved in the following works:
- Assisting in Party Wall Matters
- Property Management Inspections and Reports
- Report Writing
- Preparation of Specification of Works
- Contract Administration/overseeing Construction Works
- Investigations and Reports on Building Defects
The successful candidate will need to:
- Have a BSc in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) or be qualified MCIOB
- Have a full UK driving license and own a vehicle
- Be client facing
- Be able to work independently or within a team with limited supervision at times
- Be capable of identifying and developing solutions Have good communication skills
- Have a good understanding of Building Pathology
- Have at least one year’s experience working as a surveyor
