I am currently recruiting for an Interim Development Manager to work on a housing scheme in central London to transform a car park into a c. 250 unites to lead on the procurement of a development partner to deliver the scheme.
My client is a London Borough.
The key responsibilities of the Interim Development Manager would be taking the primary lead on the procurement of a development partner for this particular housing scheme and then acting as the intelligent client, representing the council for this project.
The successful Interim Development Manager would ideally have:
- Worked for a local government either directly or through a consultancy / development partner before
- Be able to function as an intelligent client
- Be able to get to central London once a week
This is a six month contract, with a good daily rate. Normally the team are in once a week with the rest of the time working from home. However, the client is open to more or less time in the office for the right candidate.
It is an interesting and political project that will look good on any CV.
