Building Surveyor

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for Building Surveyors at Assistant, Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level to join this firm of multi disciplinary consultants in central London as my client is expanding their building surveying team.

They are particularly seeking candidates who have broad based building surveying experience having done both project and professional duties.

Support will be given for people working towards taking the APC and good prospects are available for ambitious chartered building surveyors.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a medium to large sized firm of construction and property consultants.

Their have several offices across the UK.

They provide clients with building surveying, project management, structural engineering and health and safety services.

Client are both in the private and public sectors.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be either an Assistant Building Surveyor with at least 12 months or more post graduate experience in Building Surveying and with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying or you may be almost chartered or already chartered with the RICS at project surveyor or senior level.

You should be working either for another firm of building surveying consultants or with a multi-displinary firm of consultants as a Building Surveyor.

You will need to have broad based experience to include pre-acquisition building surveys, schedules of condition, preparation and negotiation of schedule of dilapidations, preparation of schedules of works, contract administration, project management, CDM, assessment of rebuild cost for insurance purposes and also planned maintenance programmes.

You should have good client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.

Salary is from £35000 up to £70000 per annum plus pension, 50ppm, health insurance, generous holidays and other benefits plus excellent prospects for promotion.
