Senior Surveyor/Associate - Commercial Valuation

Peace Recrutiments close clients, a market leader in property and regular industry award winner are expanding, adding to their successful Valuation team in Glasgow.

Are you a registered valuation professional, with a track record of business development expertise, and candidates with strong technical knowledge looking to take the next step in their career with endless opportunity?

The position will involve valuation duties across multiple asset classes, working with a friendly well-established team. The successful candidate will work with the Partner in the team, responsible for the full range of valuation duties, as well as managing client relationships and professional work. You will need to be committed to excellent customer service and have a good understanding of compliance procedures and the relevant legislation surrounding commercial valuation If you are already chartered but interested in a new challenge this is the role for you.

You may have well established client relationships in your own business already and this would be an opportunity to build on these further, as well as establish and maintain new business streams.

The successful applicant

You will be a Chartered Surveyor, having MRICS and registered valuer status.

You will have strong valuation skills, ideally gained in private practice, and ideally with a range of expertise in industrial and commercial properties.

You may have previous experience of mentoring other staff, and strong local property connections, and be looking for the chance to take a role which can offer true progression and career development.

Key skills and attributes

• MRICS and registered valuer status as a Chartered Surveyor

• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose and explain complex issues concisely to different audiences.

• Ability to work under pressure, with a motivated and productive attitude.

• Ability to work flexibly from the Glasgow office and visit properties predominantly around West of Scotland, but with occasional further travel required.
