Guildford Borough Council Building Control have an opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor/ Assistant Building Control Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Successful candidates should be professionally qualified MRICS, MCABE or equivalent, or be working towards becoming qualified, and should be educated to A level standard/NVQ 3.  A building related degree is desirable.

You should have a good working experience within the construction industry (Building Control experience desirable), a sound technical knowledge of building practices and current building legislation – dependent on applicable position.

You should have a positive attitude to change, be an effective communicator and be able to form productive working relationships.
