HAYS are proud be working in partnership with a Housing Association currently going through an exciting time, as they look to re-structure and implement a 5-year plan delivering 300 new dwellings through subsidy and capital arrangement with a view to increase this exponentially thereafter. Your new role / What you will need to succeed
As a Development Manager, your role with initially be 'delivery' focused - you be responsible for delivering a programmed of affordable projects in line with the business plan, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and Homes England audit requirements. Day-to-day roles will include regular correspondence with developers, registered providers and the public - staying 'customer focused' will be key. To be successful in this role, you will have a good working knowledge and understanding of Homes England procedures, regulations and alternate funding streams.
You will utilise your previous experience working within residential housing on various development routes and processes and demonstrate relevant experience of land, package, tendered works and an understanding of S106 acquisition procurement. You will be someone that strives to succeed at every turn, embracing day-to-day challenges.
