Interim Graduate Estates Surveyor

GRADUATE/JUNIOR ESTATES SURVEYOR NEEDED IN THE SOUTHWEST!

I am working with a Local Authority in the Southwest who are looking for a Graduate/Junior Estates Surveyor to join their team.

Duties in the role:

You'll be shadowing and providing support to the Property and Estates Manager, ensuring the council's profits are being maximised by the property portfolio.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be required to complete:

• Basic asset valuations
• Rent reviews
• Lease renewals
• Service charges

In the office once a fortnight, with site inspections more regularly.

For this role:

You should have/be working towards a degree in Real Estates, Estates Management or Surveying. They're happy to consider you if you're towards or intending to achieve your RICS qualifications.

You should have a comprehensive understanding of the property market, and of landlord and tenant legislation.

If you have experience working in Property Services (work experience or summer internships) this would be beneficial.
