Job Details
Peace Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well known Construction Consultancy in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting their growth and strategy plans for 2023. This will involve overseeing and coordinating construction projects throughout the full life cycle across public and private sectors, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standard of quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading project teams, mentoring junior staff and playing an active role in the development and implementation of the company's growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Leading construction projects from feasibility to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standard of quality.
- Developing project plans and schedules
- Coordinating with architects, engineers and other project stakeholders
- Managing budgets and resources
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and building codes
- Communicating with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Ensuring project deliverables are met
- Leading project teams, mentoring junior staff
- Playing an active role in the development and implementation of the company's growth strategy
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction project management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with project planning and scheduling software
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional accreditation (e.g. MCIOB, PMP, etc.) is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring junior staff and supporting company growth
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth
Our client is offering a competitive salary up to £65,000 depending on the level of candidate, benefits package and the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects, as well as the chance to play a key role in the company's growth and strategy plans for 2023.
