Location: Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh - Hybrid working)

Salary: £39,000 - £58,000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Do you have development consultancy experience working for a property consultancy in Scotland and enjoy identifying new opportunities and managing schemes for clients through the planning process? Best known for their consistent track record in delivering complex sites, our client has instructed us exclusively on an exciting new opportunity for a skilled Development Surveyor to work at a well-established Land and Strategic planning promotion company based in Scotland.

The Position

The successful candidate will cover the Eastern side of Scotland as their geographical patch, with a principal focus on Edinburgh and the Eastern Central belt area. However the office base is Glasgow with meetings and team collaboration expected in the office for 2 days a week. We are open to a candidate living in/near Edinburgh or Glasgow but with travel to the patch.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Providing support to the regional team in identification, acquirement and promotion of land
  • Scheme management through the planning process
  • Identifying and engaging with new opportunities
  • Assisting in the sale of land

Essential experience:

  • A relevant degree in Real Estate (RICS accredited)
  • 3+ years' experience in a development surveying, development management, or a strategic land role.
  • A natural ability to communicate and negotiate
  • A desire to learn and grow with the business
  • Experience/exposure in Land Acquisition
