Senior Town Planner
Beach Baker is proud to be working with a leading global consultancy to recruit an Associate Director of Town Planning within the centre of Bristol.
The Company
As a dynamic leading global consultancy, you'll be working alongside a variety of developers, public sector bodies and investors to provide expertise and advice to a wide variety of highly renown establishments, including in sectors such as retail, leisure, accommodation, educational and healthcare.
The Position
Our client is a well-established firm who have a large list of high-profile clients. Whilst working in a small tight-knit team to achieve goals and objectives, this role will introduce a wide variety of work surround exciting schemes in in the southwest, with projects including a mix of residential, mixed use, commercial, retail and education.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Provide expertise and professional advice to a variety of clients
- Delegating and forming good relationships with you planning team
- Engaging in high level strategic planning and development
Essential:
- MRTPI Certified
- 1-3 Years' experience
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Demonstratable track record of competence in Planning experience
- Ability to adhere to a high standards of report/ proposal writing
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Previous private practice/consultancy experience
- A solid understanding of business development and client relationships
- A well-founded knowledge of property in a development context

Salary: 35-45K depending on experience
