Location: Bristol
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + benefits + bonus
Key skills: Property agency background or background in operational FM across multiple sites and ideally IOSHH qualified.
The company
Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed by a privately owned private practice based in Bristol is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take operational and strategic responsibility for the Facilities Management delivery across the South West & South Wales region.
We are pleased to be marketing this role which genuinely offers the successful candidate direct ownership and influence over the direction of facilities management department.
The role
You will take ownership for the Facilities Management function and will be expected to implement standards across all operating procedures and ideally have IOSHH qualified as a minimum and came from a property agency background.
The opportunity is there to own and grow the FM function and most importantly be a self-starter and great fit with the wider business and clients. This will require the successful candidate to build relationships across the business. Day to day functions include:
- H&S management and compliance
- Contractor management
- Inspection regimes
- Occupier liaison
- Invoice approval and coding
- Service charge budget preparation
- Quarterly service charge review
- Initial stages of annual service charge reconciliation
- Utilities management and recharge calculation
- Continual pursuit of best practice
This exciting new role would suit an experienced Facilities Manager with solid understanding of the procurement process and a proven background in operational FM across multiple sites. You will be expected to travel across the typical Bristol patch covering the South West and South Wales region
The package and benefits
£32,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + benefits + bonus (depending on experience)
Other benefits include: 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) + Xmas period off, pension, private medical cover, life assurance, discretionary bonus and parking.
