Overview

This leading developer are one of the market leaders in the living sector. They cover projects from build to rent, hotel and student. As part of ongoing growth in their London portfolio, they are looking to appoint a Development Project Manager to manage projects through the full development cycle. 

The role

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will lead projects post acquisition including design, planning and delivery. You will work in collaboration with acquisition colleagues who lead front end appraisal of new sites. Typical projects are £20-50m new build.

Responsibilities include:

• Team assembly
• Development of design 
• Management of design / consultant team
• Coordinate planning requirements
• Selection of JV partners where required
• Procurement strategy 
• Contractor appointment
• Project Management through delivery stage
• Assisting the marketing team on branding and positioning

Ideal candidate:

• Degree qualified in a property related subject
• Chartered professional such as MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA or equivalent
• Experience as a Project Manager/Development Project Manager
• Experience leading projects £20m+
• Experience in the residential / hotel sector is desirable
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication
