NHS Lanarkshire has an exciting opportunity for a Property Services Manager to join the Property Services team within the Board’s Property and Support Services Division.

Property Services provides wide-ranging estate management services across the Board’s property estate, and lead on lease management, acquisition and disposal, amongst other functions.

You will assist the Head of Property Services in the provision of effective and high-quality service to all stakeholders, both internally and externally. Duties will include the maintenance of property files and database information and management and administration of all leases, including processing the payment of rent, service charges, Non-Domestic Rates and other associated costs.

You will undertake tasks, delegated by the Head of Property Services, which will contribute to the provision of property advice to planners and managers throughout NHS Lanarkshire.

Applicants require a degree-level qualification or equivalent knowledge of estate and property management gained through both work experience and continuous professional development. Extensive experience in estate and property management services or other relevant property specialism is essential.

Annex 21 will be considered for trainees, with a training plan agreed on the appointment of a trainee to the role.

You will be required to manage a varied workload and be responsive and adaptive to requirements placed on Property Services by the Board, internal and external stakeholders and advisers, and should have sufficient experience and knowledge to act with autonomy.

Sufficient knowledge and experience to support the Head of Property Services in the appointment, instruction and management of expert advisors and in the provision of analysis and guidance to the General Manager of PSSD and to the Board is required.

Good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to communicate property-related information effectively with stakeholders with and without a property background, the ability to plan and coordinate input from others and interpret complex data, technical information and property plans are essential.

A valid driving licence is required.
