Surveyor / Property & Asset Manager required for an international company in Doncaster

We at Hays are proud to be partnering with an international company to recruit for a surveyor / asset manager to join their property team. Whilst the office for the role is based in their UK headquarters in Doncaster, hybrid and flexible working is offered.

Your new role

Your primary role is for the management of the companies properties across the midlands, naturally this will require regular travel to sites. You will be responsible for negotiating and carrying out property transactions with customers, landlords, tenants and stakeholders, such as new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews and assignments on behalf of the company. You will be seeking out new opportunities to reduce the costs and increase the income of the existing property portfolio. Undertaking disposals and acquisitions for the company as well as providing support for the redevelopment of existing schemes. You will also work with other teams within the business, whether that be locally, nationally or internationally to support operational and customer requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

For you to be the ideal candidate, you will be already working within the property industry, ideally as an asset manager. You will ideally be MRICS chartered or working towards this , with commercial acumen & good communication skills. You will be able to work under your own initiative, manage a varied workload as well as showcase your expertise in negotiation and project delivery.
