Estates Surveyor (Part-Time) – North West England - £45 per hour

My Local Authority Client based in the Northwest is currently looking for an Interim Estates Surveyor on an initial 6-month contract.

They are looking for a Chartered Surveyor who is available to start a new role in the next few weeks. This role is paying around £45 p/h working on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week).

RICS membership is essential.

Your responsibilities will be

• Management of a rolling programme of community asset transfers Estate management transactions including lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations and lease re-gearing in respect of existing community assets Ensure third party occupiers of community assets are complying with their statutory requirements Attend bid selection meetings to provide professional property advice in the selection of CAT tenants Work pro-actively with key stakeholders, including senior managers, Council Departments and Services and voluntary bodies and individuals to shape and deliver an effective Community Asset policy Ensure premises are fit for purpose and let and deal with issues of disrepair, lease management and debt management
