Senior Building Surveyor

A prestigious Real Estate organisation in London is looking to grow their building consultancy department with the addition of a Senior Building Surveyor. The City-based firm boasts modern offices a minute’s walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate train stations.

The highly respected consultancy are commercial and industrial specialists, they manage an enviable client portfolio which includes exclusive instructions. The division provides accurate surveying advice across London, the South-East and Nationally, and in time will be international. The role offers a variety of career development exposure with continued personal and professional training programmes.

The role is reporting to the Director delivering professional and building contract services for both occupier and investor clients. From the outset there will be a high level of client contact, you will manage integral stakeholder relationships and continue building strong networks.

• Technical due diligence
• Schedules of dilapidations (landlord & tenant)
• Building pathology
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Contract administration
• Refurbishment projects (CAT A office fit outs)
• Reinstatement cost assessments
• Advising on neighbourly matters

Senior Building Surveyor

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will possess drive and confidence to continue self-development. A sociable and friendly character to match the current building surveying team environment. Hybrid/flexible office and home working available.

• Degree in Building Surveying
• MRICS qualified Commercial awareness
• Strong technical knowledge
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK driver’s licence
