Senior Town Planner - Large Private Consultancy: Birmingham
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 32k - 42k

The Role:
- Preparing planning applications and appeals.
- Negotiating with planning officers, clients and third parties.
- Assess project feasibility.
- Engaging with planning committees and pre/post application public consultations.
- Manage budgetary constraints.
- Ensuring compliance with local planning regulations.
- Writing reports, interpreting data and making recommendations.
- Business development.
- Keeping up to date with planning knowledge and legislation.
Essential Criteria:
- MRTPI
- A minimum of 2 years' experience at Planner level in a private consultancy
- Ability to manage own time effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience in Local Authority and/or Client-side firm.
