Interim - Voids Building Surveyor – Surrey – Local Authority

Part of the Asset Management Team you will oversee all responsive repairs services to the Council’s housing stock, ensuring that legislation and regulation requirements are met and that homes are maintained to a good standard. You will work closely with our partnering contractors, voids, planned maintenance, housing legal, housing managemet and complaints teams to ensure we deliver a robust service.

You will need to possess a relevant qualification and/or have experience in relation to building maintenance surveying:

• Degree, equivalent qualification or extensive experience in Building Surveying or similar field
• Professional understanding and knowledge of the Construction Act and other relevant legislation
• CSCS Card
• Knowledge and experience in working within a local government housing service or Registered Provider (i.e. housing association) in a similar role
