Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking to appoint a Strategic Asset Management & Investment Manager to play a crucial leadership role resulting in the delivery of a consistently excellent Asset Management service.

At Bridgend County Borough Council, we have transformed the way we manage our property estate.  We manage a diverse property portfolio, from schools to industrial estates from care homes to market stalls. We’ve changed to a Corporate Landlord approach bringing together the different management teams that lead our property, design, hard and soft Facilities Management teams under one service department.

Leading the Strategic Asset Management & Investment team you will work on delivering and developing our strategic asset management plan through the provision of a number of key asset management services across a diverse portfolio which includes schools, social service settings, residential care sites, offices, depots, a commercial investment portfolio and public realm assets.

This role is crucial to developing and enabling our strategic approach to property asset management and helping deliver the services that we provide to our residents.
We are seeking a chartered surveyor with proven experience of asset management services across a diverse portfolio with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
