A successful employee-owned property consultancy requires a Midlands based Associate Director Building Surveyor to join their Building Advisory team.

About the company/role:

  • Midlands office is based in Birmingham; however, the role is completely flexible and there is no minimum requirement on office attendance
  • Midlands team is made up of 7 multi-disciplinary employees
  • Standard project value is around £250k with larger projects up to £1m
  • Main sectors include Commercial, Healthcare and Residential; however, you would primarily be focussing on projects within the Commercial sector
  • As an associate part of your role will include business development and seeking new opportunities with new and existing clients Day to day work will include dilapidations, schedules of condition and project monitoring
  • As the company is employee owned, all business decisions are agreed by the internal employee forum and employee trustees, ensuring all decisions are ones that benefit the employees

Ideal candidate:

  • MRICS Chartered
  • Experience within the commercial sector
  • Experience of measured surveys is advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence Great communication skills

Package:

  • Up to £65k plus £5670 car allowance and bonus
