Building Surveyor at Assistant / Newly Qualified level

A well established Construction Consultancy with a number of high profile clients requires a Building Surveyor with some commercial experience that is committed to completing their APC to join their expanding business. They would also consider a newly qualified surveyor with commensurate salary and benefits.

You will be joining a team of 12, and reporting to the Operations Director where you'll be working closely with clients to understand goals and to develop and support viable solutions. You will be exposed to a wide range of building surveying duties along with the project management of retail refurbishment and fit-out projects. The consultancy have a significant focus on retail, but also work in education, commercial, residential and heritage buildings.

They are considering candidates with some commercial experience already that seeks a better company with better support.

You will get involved in the following;

• Measured & Site Surveys
• Feasibility & scheme design drawings using AutoCAD and Sketch-Up
• Condition Surveys
• Dilapidations
• Schedule of Repairs
• Building Pathology / Defect Analysis
• Party Wall Act
• Contract Administration under JCT contracts
• Project Management
• Other general Building Surveying Duties

Requirements:

• RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying
• industry experience
• Driving Licence

Salary:  

• £25-£35k Salary
• Pension
• Full APC Support
