Site Agent Role - 1 Year + Contract - Excellent Day Rate - High Value Highways Project
Your new company
You will be joining a forward-thinking and innovative Tier 1 contractor whose main purpose is building for a better society with a customer focused mindset. This contractor has an exciting opportunity working on a dual carriage way project in the Birmingham area which you will be a part of.
Your new role
You will be the Agent for the construction of gantries on a high value SMART motorway project. This type of works will include establishing logistics, understanding site constraints along with retaining structures and gantry steelwork. In addition to this you will be managing the forecast and delivery of all concrete with the supplier. You will have support from the Construction Manager however take ownership of the structure's team on the main line works.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be an effective communicator both written and verbally, you will have knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (ideally NEC4) and digital competence such as MS Office 365 and site digital tools. In addition to this you will have experience in delivering major highways schemes with SMART motorway schemes being an advantage and experience in managing the delivery of gantries. Furthermore you must have the relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS Card.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an excellent day rate and have the opportunity to work on a long-term highways project which will last for at least one year.
