Graduate Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Leeds. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting senior Quantity Surveyors in the preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, contracts, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting senior Quantity Surveyors in the preparation and management of budgets, cost plans, contracts, and procurement.
• Preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Conducting site visits to ensure work is being carried out to the required standards and within budget.
• Negotiating with contractors and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Assisting in the resolution of disputes with contractors and suppliers.
• Maintaining accurate records of costs and quantities.

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant software, such as Excel and CAD, is desirable.
• A willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
