Director Building Surveyor

A Director level Building Surveyor is required in Birmingham for a growing multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy. The consultancy itself has 6 offices throughout the UK, with over 80 employees and work primarily within the commercial industry with a focus on retail, residential, education, student accommodation and offices.

As a Director within the company, you will be managing and mentoring a team of surveyors, as well as providing full building surveying services to clients including, but not limited to, acquisition surveys; schedules of condition and dilapidations. It is expected for you to maintain positive and professional working relationships with clear communication whilst developing and winning new business for the company.

Person Specification:

• RICS accredited degree
• MRICS Chartered
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Projects and NBS
• Effective negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• The ability to successfully develop business, both existing and generating new opportunities
