Test Valley Borough Council has committed to the delivery of exciting and ambitious regeneration Masterplans for Andover and Romsey Town Centres which will see significant public and private capital injected into regeneration of its town centres, with the Council being the major land owner. This comprises of a programme of close to forty major capital projects that will span more than a decade. The projects encompass a rich mix of commercial and public realm improvement projects with the focus firmly on place-making.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a regeneration team, responsible for transforming Andover and Romsey town centres through the delivery of high-quality place making residential and mixed-use development projects.

An experienced regeneration professional, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience of delivering complex and long-term development projects and be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively across the organisation and with development partners. You will ideally have experience across a range of workplace environments, preferably in both the Public and Private sector. You will be commercially focused and able to understand how to balance the different demands of property development in a local government setting.

This role will focus on the delivery and contract Management side of the regeneration programme.  The post-holder will lead on a number of projects and also provide specialist advice across the rest of the regeneration programme. Knowledge in the procurement and management of large, complex capital construction projects is essential.
