Are you an Estates Surveyor looking for an exciting new full-time role within a Local Authority?
We have a great opportunity for an Estate Surveyor to join our Estates team in Blackpool with a potential for hybrid working.
 
Package
The lower grade (Estates Officer) is £37,261-£41,496 and the Senior Estates Role higher is £42,503-£46,549. Both packages include good pension benefit, flexitime, and generous holiday allowances.
 
Role
·To provide support in managing the Council's property portfolio in accordance with legislation, applying good estate management practices and ensuring that the financial return on the Council's investment is maximised, to include valuations, rent reviews, service charge management, new lettings, lease renewals, acquisitions, disposals, easements, and general estates management.
·Support various areas including the management of the commercial property portfolio of shops, industrial units and ground rented properties, assisting with disposals of land and property, developing, and implementing the Council's asset review process and disposals programme, and support valuations of land and property.
 
Candidates will ideally have: -
·Degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline
·Membership, or working towards and attaining membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AMRICS/MRICS) within 12 months.
Desired - Full driving licence
