Senior Surveyor
Estate and Facilities Management: Technical Team
Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb
Salary: £46,047 to £53,353 per annum

The Senior Surveyor is a key role in the maintenance of the University estate, co-ordinating a team of Building surveyors in the management and implementation of programmes of planned building maintenance and improvement works.
You will use your expertise to undertake investigations of building defects, devise appropriate solutions and manage the surveying team in undertaking feasibility and cost estimates and to plan, programme and implement approved projects.
To succeed in the role, you will need:
- Demonstrated ability in a broad range of building surveying activities, in particular managing building maintenance, adaptations and refurbishment works
- Experience of financial management and sound knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
- Previous experience of managing the maintenance of complex estates and co-ordinating teams of professional staff
- Experience of liaising directly with a varied client base
