Senior Estates and Development Surveyor
Full time Permanent
£49,590 - £51,518– per annum
37 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to work ‘Client-side’ unlocking opportunities and delivering developments across our patch of South Devon. Working within a multi-disciplined Assets team responsible for the management of a diverse property portfolio, the role plays a key part in using real estate to achieve the Council’s long term strategic vision, from smaller scale development projects to Council led regeneration schemes.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- Have worked in similar roles providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders and key decision makers.
- Enjoy solving problems. You love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.
- Like helping people. You are patient, level headed and cool under pressure.
- Pay attention to details. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.

You might have:
- Direct experience of leading on delivery of grant funded schemes including reporting and monitoring requirements
