Are you operating at a senior strategic level and looking for an exciting client-side opportunity?

Would you like to manage a prestigious and diverse estate?

Our client is going through a period of exciting change and are looking for a senior FM/ Estates Manager with a strategic mindset to join their team. You will help them define, maintain and deliver the rolling 5-10 year Health and Safety (HSQE) and estates asset management strategies while ensuring value for money via long-term financial planning.

Purpose of role

This is a newly created role managing the estate function. You will define and drive health and safety, quality, sustainability, security and estates strategies, and act as lead advisor to ensure that the estates portfolio of freehold and leasehold properties remains fit for the future.

You will have the opportunity to lead a team of property professionals to establish effective programme management across the strategies, as well as provide oversight on operational facilities matters that maintain a fit for purpose workplace in line with modern workplace expectations.

The successful candidate will have

  • Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) and IWFM or equivalent health and safety and facilities management charterships.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant area e.g. construction, engineering, surveying, architecture.
  • Project Management Qualification or ability to evidence experience in applying effective project management methodologies within an estates context.
  • Experience in strategy setting within a HSQE and estates context.
  • Complex estates change management planning and implementation.
  • Project management of significant scale estates change / budget management.
  • Extensive Facilities management experience/ estates management services experience within a complex organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of public sector legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and extract information from a variety of sources, and create well presented, accurate, concise documentation, demonstrating attention to detail.
