Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading multi-discipline construction and property consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, including leisure and educational works.

Responsibilities:

Undertake all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying dutiesPrepare bills of quantities, schedules of works, and specificationsLiaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projectsProvide cost advice and cost planningManage project budgets and ensure financial control is maintained throughoutMentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as requiredContribute to business development activities and help to grow the team's portfolio of workRequirements:

MRICS qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar roleExperience working on leisure and educational projects is desirableExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleaguesStrong commercial acumen with the ability to provide accurate cost advice and manage project budgets effectivelyAbility to lead and mentor a team of junior surveyorsProven track record of delivering projects on time and within budgetThis is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to progress quickly within their career.
