ROLE DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a Property Software Sales Executive with a background in property investment, development, agency or professional services to help us take our awarding winning and market-leading software to market and to sell it to investors, developers, occupiers and surveyors.
You will excel in a sales environment, having a natural ability to understand customers’ problems and then be able to clearly and concisely demonstrate how Nimbus solves those problems for them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your day-to-day role will include the following activities:
- Receiving leads from the company’s marketing activities.
- Identifying, preparing and leading new business development opportunities to generate your own leads where appropriate (including attending seminars and conferences).
- Consulting with potential customers about their requirements from the platform.
- Clearly and simply demonstrating how the system adds value to them through online or face-to-face product demonstrations.
- Setting up potential customers on trials,
- Drafting and issuing proposals.
- Closing sales.
- Managing client relationships (both new and existing)
- Tracking activities and updating our systems (CRM & subscription management systems) for your completed activities.
- Carrying out sufficient sales activities to consistently hit your targets.
- Monitoring the performance of activities (including your pipeline) using key metrics and preparing timely reports for the senior management team, particularly the Sales Director.
- Providing support to your department to maximise revenue and minimise incentives on key accounts.
- Collaborating and coordinating with a diverse team (marketing, sales, customer service, technical etc.)
ABOUT YOU
You will have:
- An education to degree level or equivalent & ideally you will be RICS qualified although this is not an absolute necessity.
- A proven track record of sales success.
- A strong understanding of the property sector with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in it.
- An awareness of property technology systems.
- A tenacious, resilient, goal & results-driven attitude with a drive to succeed and continually develop your skills and expertise with an ability to work under pressure.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully closing deals & experience in a similar working environment.
- An ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to sales success.
- A numerate and data-driven approach.
- Excellent customer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- A considerate and trustworthy personality, with the ability to communicate effectively and build long-standing relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

- MRICS qualification
TRAVEL:
- You will need to travel within the UK for face-to-face meetings or to attend seminars and conferences. Overnight travel is however expected to be infrequent.
OTHER:
- Hybrid working (from home & from the office in Birmingham and occasionally in Warwick)
- 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
