Role: Associate Town Planning Director
Salary: £55K - £70K
Location: Reading
We are delighted to offer a new opportunity for a Chartered Town Planner to join a thriving and accomplished private multi-disciplinary consultancy at Beach Baker.

The Role:
As an Associate Director, you will assume one of the most senior positions within the team, with management responsibilities that include mentoring junior planners and overseeing high profile projects.
Your primary focus will be on residential development, but you will also have opportunities to work on other areas such as employment, commercial, creative industries, and strategic land.
Specific Duties:
- Independently conducting planning activities
- Managing your time on a daily basis in accordance with project objectives and budgets
- Working on a range of projects to meet agreed client requirements and ensure effective business operations and deadlines
- Managing time and budgets within the identified scope of fee agreements
- Drafting fee proposals in consultation with project leads and senior colleagues
- Developing and maintaining a strong client network
- Liaising directly with clients and providing strategy advice as appropriate to your experience and role within the project team
- Representing clients at appeal hearings and committee meetings
- Assisting in the management of junior team members and overseeing their workloads
Essential
- MRTPI
- Ability to generate and maintain relationships with clients.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Town Planning Role
- Private Consultancy experience
