Estates Officer - Engineering

ASAP start - Up to £243.03 per day - 5 days per week - long-term opportunity

Your new company
Hays is working with a NHS trust based in Stoke-on-Trent who require a Mechanically bias Estates Officer to part manage the Engineering department who are responsible for M&E maintenance across all sites.

Your new role
This is an operational role which will require you to lead a team of direct engineers who will carry out M&E maintenance across all sites. You will use the inhouse CAFM system to ensure all activities involved in reactive & planned maintenance, asset management etc are being executed as they should be. You will ensure all compliance KPI's are being met and that works carried out by direct staff & contractors adheres to the expect H&S standards, ensuring RAMs are in place etc. You will attend contractor meeting where required and work with external consultant in a Clerk of Works fashion, interrogating design drawings between the consultants and internal project teams for Minor Works projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Mechanical background - preferably within the NHS
• Mechanical qualifications (NVQ/C&G/HNC/HND)
• HTM awareness
• Water/Gas RP desirable
• Natural gas experience would be advantageous
• Must have a UK Drivers license and access to own vehicle
