Responsibilities:

Assist in a wide range of building surveying instructions for commercial properties, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial buildings.Provide professional services to clients, such as preparing schedules of dilapidations, conducting pre-acquisition surveys, managing party wall awards, diagnosing defects, creating planned preventative maintenance reports, performing fire insurance valuations, conducting disability audits, and preparing schedules of condition.Conduct site visits, write specifications, obtain estimates, plan maintenance programs, and administer contracts for maintenance work.Analyze and report on building defects, handle claims, negotiate with loss adjusters, and prepare drawings and specifications for remedial work.Assist with portfolio coordination and undertake other duties as required.Demonstrate business development skills and ensure excellent client care.Take responsibility for continuous professional learning and development.Qualifications:

Hold a relevant degree approved by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).Proficient in CAD drawing and specification writing.Some prior experience in private practice.To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional communication skills, have a strong commercial awareness, and be able to establish and maintain relationships with prestigious clients.

As a Building Surveyor at our client's company, you will have the opportunity to become a Chartered Building Surveyor with full support from the company and the local Building Surveying Team through the APC process.
