Job Title: Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £48,000 to £55,000 plus bonus, package

Our client is continuing to grow and expand their operations across Scotland, they are currently seeking experienced Project Managers to join our dynamic team therefore will consider PM’s up to Associate level.

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of a variety of projects across Scotland. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial conception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any risks or issues and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, regulatory bodies, and local communities to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any conflicts or disputes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, civil engineering, architecture).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering education, residential developments, public sector frameworks, hotel and leisure facilities projects in Scotland
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable.
