Looking for your next Local Authority post?
Park Avenue are working with a Local Authority based in the West Midlands who are looking for an Interim Estates Surveyor to join them on an initial 6 month basis (likely to be extended).
The team currently work on a hybrid basis, so you will only be required in the office 1/2 days per week. Having worked with this council before, I can vouch for the fact they are an extremely friendly and cohesive team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in managing Commercial Real Estate - retails, offices, industrial & leisure
- L&T 54 Act background/ Lease Advisory
- Ability to manage a portfolio of commercial ground leases is essential; inc. Re-gears/ Market Rent & RPI rent reviews.
- Able to manage the Councils annual one off's: Rent shares/ RPI increases, etc…
- Rent arrears & debt recovery processes/ EPC's & MEE's regulations/ Dilapidation
This is a great opportunity to get stuck in to some interesting Local Authority work, and make a lasting impression on the council.
