Building Surveyor

Marshalls Chartered Surveyors are a small, long established (1979) private practice who are seeking an AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS Building Surveyor to expand the team and to assist in undertaking residential and potentially commercial surveys. We primarily undertake level 2 & 3 RICS Home Surveys along with private valuations, party wall work, snagging and various commercial surveying services. As well as a good knowledge of condition surveys, other professional work experience such as valuation, dilapidations, contract admin or party wall work would be of interest but are not essential.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, able to confidently deal with the public and provide a quality service to our clients. We focus on quality over quantity and do not carry out numerous inspections a day nor do we undertake panel work. We generally work for private clients, SME's and Local Authorities. Our workstream is purely from word of mouth and recommendations, we are entirely independent. 

From our offices in Kidlington and Thatcham we cover most of Oxfordshire, West Berkshire and the surrounding areas. We tend to operate within a 25 mile radius of our offices. There is the option to work from either or both offices.

We offer a bonus scheme, car allowance, CPD costs, RICS and other professional fees. We also close for the Christmas and New Year break in addition to our annual leave allowance. All necessary kit such as a quality camera, DJi drone etc. will be supplied. 

This position is seen as potentially leading to director level for the right candidate.
