APC Building Surveyor

Client side / consultancy opportunity for a late APC building surveyor.

Our client is a leading consultancy, who work in conjunction with a major developer and asset manager operating within the commercial and industrial space.They provide a comprehensive service that covers the UK, working closely with institutions, financial partners, occupiers, managing a portfolio more than 15,000,000 sqft and over 800 tenants. They also work with a number of clients within the healthcare, office, residential and hotels space.

The requirement has come about due to new and repeat business. 2022 was the departments best performing year to date, and this year things are looking even better, with a view of suprassing last years numbers by 20%.

This opportunity would ideal for a late APC building surveyor who wants to be a part of a small but very successful team made up of 4 chartered building surveyors. The role will be considered hybrid, where 60% of your time will spent client side and the remaining 40% consultancy. Geographically the work will cover the UK and you can expect to receive a mix of dilapidations, PPM’s and project work including refrubishments and new builds. To give you an idea of the services they provide. They are project monitoring a 300,000sqft new build industrial unit in East Anglia on behalf of a FTSE250 company and managing several dilapidations claims on behalf of asset managers/investors in Manchester and Bedfordshire.

They are looking for a building surveyor who is approaching their final stages of their APC. Ideally you will be sitting your final interview in session 2 this year. You will have a BSc RICS accredited degree. Come from a private practice or consultancy, and have a basic understanding of both project and professional services. You will be client facing and can work well within a team.

In return the business will provide the following:

Basic Salary up to £45,000 D.O.E.
