Responsibilities within your new role

As a Land Agent/Rural Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will involve managing mixed rural property portfolios consisting of agricultural, residential, and commercial properties, as well as natural capital, forestry, and sporting rights. You will offer expert advice on various land transactions, such as sales, purchases, landlord-tenant issues, compensation claims, and servitudes/wayleaves. Additionally, you will conduct property appraisals and RICS Red Book valuations.

Your role will also entail reviewing, advising, and negotiating on renewable energy prospects, including wind, hydro, solar, and battery storage. With your expertise in all aspects of 21st-century land management, you will provide comprehensive guidance to both private and public clients.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We encourage MRICS qualified candidates to apply, with a preference for those holding a Registered Valuer designation. You should have the capability to acquire knowledge and provide guidance on emerging property trends, along with excellent task management skills. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential requirements for the Land Agent/Rural Surveyor position.
