Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction project management? An exciting opportunity awaits you in Oxford! We are seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional projects within the higher education, tech, and science sectors.

As an Associate Construction Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects within the higher education, tech, and science sectors. Working closely with experienced project managers and stakeholders, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  •  Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Support in the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Assist in resolving project issues, risks, and conflicts, proposing solutions and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to contribute to project excellence.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A proactive and detailoriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of the higher education, tech, and science sectors is preferred but not essential.
