We have a great role for a Qualified Building Surveyor to take a step up and manage a team within a reputable multi-disciplinary practice

You will be responsible for operation and management of our clients Building Consultancy division, including profitability, strategic progress and overall performance, working with and reporting to the Head of Consultancy. The role-holder should be able to lead and manage a high performing team, plan strategy, and to inspire, demonstrating clear and consistent commitment to our company values.

Whilst initially the division consists of building surveyors delivering a range of building survey advice to a spectrum of clients, the strategy for the division includes specifically:

•     Improving the quality of the nature of the work which the division attracts

•     Extending our Building Consultancy business with a wider geographical footprint to capitalise on opportunities created by a general shortage of building consultancy expertise

•     Offering a wider range of services including for example: QS project management and RCA services, measured survey/plan drawing expertise, M&E consultancy and also sustainability. 

You will also have a fee earning role and can demonstrate the delivery of expert advice to clients. You will typically have a varied project workload including the most complex residential, commercial, and other sector projects, and you should be able to problem solve in complex scenarios.
