Valuation/Lease Advisory Surevyor

Peace Recrutiments close clients, a market leader in property and regular industry award winner are expanding their valuation and lease advisory team across the central Belt of Scotland and looking to add to their successful Valuation team in Glasgow.

Our client is headquartered in Scotland and their valuation and lease advisory team operates closely with their market leading agency, research and building consultancy teams in sharing knowledge and expertise.

The successful candidate will work with the Partner in the team, responsible for the full range of valuation duties, as well as managing client relationships and professional work.

Advising on a wide range of assets across Central Scotland ranging from individual properties through to diverse portfolios and significant regeneration projects. Our clients thrives on the variety of projects and clients whom they assist.

The successful applicant

You will be a Chartered Surveyor, having MRICS and registered valuer status.

You will have strong valuation skills, ideally gained in private practice, and ideally with a range of expertise in industrial and commercial properties.

Within the role you will be given freedom and support to develop professionally and to explore new and emerging opportunities. You should also have an eye for detail and accuracy and be able to provide clear and concise written reports in plain and simple English.

Key skills and attributes

• MRICS and registered valuer status as a Chartered Surveyor

• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose and explain complex issues concisely to different audiences.

• Ability to work under pressure, with a motivated and productive attitude.

• Ability to work flexibly from the Glasgow office and visit properties predominantly around West of Scotland, but with occasional further travel required.
