Offering a broad range of work, progression at all levels and unlimited annual leave, this firm of Chartered Building Surveyors is searching for a Newly Qualified Building Surveyor to join their team in Brighton, East Sussex. With exposure to a range of sectors, you will have a bias towards project work across the South Coast and London.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Building Surveying or relevant subject
  • MRICS – You will ideally have recently passed your APC
  • Excellent communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work is split between projects (75%) and professional instructions (25%) in a range of industry sectors. Work includes but is not limited to:

  • Project Management
  • Contract Administration
  • Specification writing
  • Detailed Report Writing
  • Defect diagnosis
  • Refurbishments, Restoration, Maintenance & Repair Advice
  • Health & Safety
  • Technical (CAD) Design & Drawing
  • Planning & Building Regulations
  • Dilapidations

Salary & Package:

  • £45,000 – £50,000 dependent on experience
  • Unlimited annual leave
  • Hybrid working

Company Overview:

Our client is an award-winning Chartered Building Surveying firm, with a number of offices across the UK.

They offer a friendly and flexible work environment with hybrid working and an unlimited annual leave policy.

The Brighton office works across a broad range of industry sectors, but the current focus is towards block management in the commercial resi sector. They have a 75/25 mix of projects and professional instructions. Within the Brighton office the role will be split 50/50 between clients in East Sussex and clients in London so there will be travel to London required.

In line with planned growth they are now looking for a newly qualified Building Surveyor to join their team in Brighton, East Sussex. They offer progression at all levels.
