Assistant/Land Manager

Peace Recrutiment's client, a highly reputable housebuidler who have been operating for over 40 years and widely recognised as one of Scotlands foremost house-bulidng brands are looking for an Assistant/Land Manager to join there Land & Planning Team. 

Ideally situated in the Central Belt, the successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and acquisition processes for land across Central and Northeast Scotland, for high end private and social housing. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with external agents, consultants, landowners, and other bodies relevant to the acquisition of land.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and any external consultants to review and present opportunities, prepare land bids, and steward the process from identification to acquisition.
• Review and ensure the relevant land rights, wayleaves, servitudes etc are properly executed for the business, liaising as required with solicitors.
• Preparation of presentations and promotional websites as required.

This role will be ideally suited to someone with:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with a housebuilder / developer or in consultancy dealing with planning applications and the promotion of strategic land for housing.
• Sufficient post-qualification experience to be capable of taking responsibility for their own workload and operating within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Preferred – MRTPI or MRICS
• Preferred – University degree in a relevant subject
