Role Description
We are looking for a Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join the team. As a Surveyor at Hogbens, you will be responsible for conducting Level 1, 2 and 3 Residential Building Surveys, assessing property conditions, providing accurate and detailed reports, and offering professional and practical advice to our clients. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and remotely. Our business is built on offering a personable service to all client.
The role is a full time position. You should be either MRICS, Assoc RICS and be a registered valuer. Ideally you will have at least 3 years PQE and have a full driving licence and access to vehicle. We are offering a competitive salary package with bonus structure.
You will be expected to travel within a 25 miles radius of Macclesfield, covering parts of the High Peak, Staffordshire, Cheshire and South Manchester.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in building surveying, property assessment, and report writing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Assoc RICS
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related field
- Have a full driving licence and have access to a car
