AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS Residential & Commercial Surveyors

Wignalls Chartered Surveyors is a growing surveying practice located near Preston. Due to continued growth in our residential & commercial client base we are looking to appoint a number of AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS Surveyors & Registered Valuers.

We have a number of roles available in both our Residential & Commercial Teams and are seeking to continue to build on the excellent reputation gained in undertaking all Levels of RICS surveys & Mortgage Valuations (for residential applicants) and Commercial property advice for both private and panel clients (for Commercial Applicants).

You will be a mixture of home and office based and undertake a manageable workload.

Remuneration includes an excellent basic salary, bonus scheme, car allowance, pension contribution, 5 weeks holidays, private health scheme and other benefits.

You will be AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS qualified with appropriate experience. Residential applications will demonstrate experience in mortgage valuations and Home Survey reports. Commercial Surveyors will have a proven track record of experience with RICS Red Book Reports and Landlord & Tenant matters.

Responsibilities:

• Providing high quality Surveys/ RICS Red book reports and property advice to clients across a range of property types.
• Responsibility for time management, completing reports on time and in accordance with Wignalls Terms of Business to the client.
• Working closely with other team members to complete reports, provide customer satisfaction and build relationships with wider Wignalls associated teams, customers, clients and key stakeholders.
• Attendance at weekly team Meetings to provide updates on clients and caseload.
• Flexibility in geographical area to be covered.  

Key Responsibilities

• Produce excellent Surveys and Reports to clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide support to the Residential & Commercial Directors as required by undertaking property inspections and producing high quality reports as necessary.
• Maintain case load management systems as required to reflect current status of each instruction.
• Report to Residential & Commercial Director (dependant on application) providing regular updates on cases, clients and to complete work diligently, on time and to a high standard.
• Drive business continuity, and behaviours within the wider team to ensure best practice.
