Our client, a leading firm of chartered surveyors and construction consultants, offering comprehensive services across Scotland. Working across various sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and the public sector, providing expert advice and innovative solutions.
Our client is looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their dynamic Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to further their career in building surveying within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, from initial feasibility studies and surveys to design, specification, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building surveys, including condition, measured, and dilapidation surveys.
- Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.
- Provide expert advice on property management and maintenance.
- Assist with the preparation of tenders and contract documentation.
- Support senior surveyors with project management duties and client liaison.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.

Commenced APC
- Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
- A proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
